EASTER SATURDAY ART WORKSHOPS
April 19th from 12 till 4
in the churchyard, church and village hall.
All villagers and church members are invited to an afternoon of artist-led workshops to be held in the village hall. Come and add your ideas to our Prayer Walk Project.
The Churchyard Woods will be populated with BWAG mushrooms and accompanying leaflets so you can get an idea of how a Prayer Walk works.
The church will be open, with another "Prayer Walk taster" based on the stained glass windows.
2014 - 100 YEARS
The 100th anniversary of the start of the "war to end all wars" is on Monday 4th August.
We are planning a series of commemoration events so watch this space. We would like to involve the maximum number of local organisations in this.
Please contact Graham if you have any ideas.
Members of the families of those who gave their lives in the war are especially invited to discuss how they could be involved.
TALKING OF WALKING
A group of men are planning a walk in October to Santiago de Compostela.
If you're interested in joining us contact Graham.
We are thinking of walking the Somme battlefields for 2016.
EXPLORERS and CREW
Explorers 10.30am Sunday March 16th
Explorers are our children over 5 who meet at 10.30 every 3rd Sunday to go exploring in the woods and fields. They need to bring a parent or guardian and be dressed for getting very wet and dirty.
Explorers join the Crew on the 4th Sunday when they explore their experiences and the story they followed during our 11am service.
There's no Crew in March as we have our church Annual General Meeting on the 23rd but Crew returns in April.
Terrors are our under 5s though they are welcome to bring the rest of the family.
Holy Terrors 9.30am
Sunday 16th March
Tea for Terrors 3.30pm

Welcome to St Peter's Church. Our motto is "There's room for everyone at St Peter's" so that includes you.
St Peter's is part of the Anglican Church (or Church of England.) Parts of the building date back nearly 900 years, or maybe longer.
Have a look on the Services page to see what we offer or use the Contacts page to ask us a question. We look forward to seeing you.
