The Passion Play Good Friday, 3 April
David Underwood passed away in January 2014 after a long illness. Before his untimely death he told of a dream he had of staging a Passion Play, and Graham promised him that we would do it.
On Good Friday, 3 April 2015, at 2pm the Passion Play will be performed on Parkwood Green. Everyone is welcome.
FLOWER FESTIVAL 23-31 May
The Prayer Walk Project is well underway, with the dedication at the end of the Flower Festival, which will run from the Spring Bank Holiday weekend.
As part of the flower festival we will also be showcasing other creative works by members of the church.
There will be cream teas over the weekends to help you make the most of your visit.
The photo is from our last festival.
We have launched a
St Peter's Hedge Fund
- no, not tax dodging bankers but replacing the tatty wire fence with a hedge. "Invest" in the hedge fund from just £1. £5 gets you a time capsule attached to a sapling. Mail Graham if you want to take part or get an envelope from the church.
Invitation to Gillingham Mosque
We have been invited for a visit by Imam Safeer Zartasht to the Nazir Mosque (which is located at the junction of Medway Road and Richmond Road, Gillingham) on Sunday 1st March at 4.30pm. The mosque has an open day that day.
This would be a great opportunity to extend our knowledge of the Muslim faith and the mosque workings and rituals and to show solidarity in these troubled times. If you would like to join this visit please contact us with your details. We will then advise you of the plans for the visit.
If you have a computer, monitor, printer, cables, or even power leads you no longer need and would like to re-home them, please contact Colin Brown. They will be used by Rochester Diocese Mpwapwa Partnership. Whether your computer has been used for home, business, or education, the internal disks can be securely wiped before a valid operating system is re-loaded. Laptops are routinely carried out to our Partnership Projects by visiting teams for ongoing use by the host Diocese, whilst desktops are typically made available for schools through Computers4Africa in Aylesford.
