Would you like a lift to church? We now have a co-ordinator to get those in need of a lift to church in touch with those offering lifts. Clare Schofield will put up a list on which you can put your name offering lifts. If you are the one needing a lift, then speak to Clare (230423) and she will put you in touch with your driver.
Could you organise the Summer Fete?
We desperately need an organiser for the Summer Fete. The person would head up a team of willing helpers and pull the whole thing together. If you’re the person for the job or would like to know more, please speak to Carole Nixon.
The next St Peter’s Ladies’ Night Out will be on Monday 20th February and the sin-up sheet is at the back of the church. Contacts are Clare Schofield (230423) or Jennie Spalding (360664).
The next Applause stage production at the village hall is on 2nd March. It’s a new production of “The Secret Garden” with puppetry, songs and “vivid theatricality”. Ann Keeble (361263) has the tickets.   |
Belated Thanks
Firstly let me apologise for the home page being off line – technical glitch....
I’m sure you will all agree the church looks splendid with it’s new lime wash – a great big thanks to the Lime Wash Team! They over came all the problems this old church could throw at them, tight doors, manually lifting a 2.5t machine, cast iron radiators and a fear of heights. Sterling effort J!!
